About this show:
StudentVU
StudentVU is a video blog by Vanderbilt students about campus events - from orientation and move-in in August to Commencement in May. StudentVU is:Brittany AdkinsMy name is Brittany Adkins, and I am a senior from Nashville, Tennessee. As a student in the College of Arts and Science, with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Corporate Strategies, the opportunity to produce and host video blogs for Vanderbilt was one I took with both eagerness and enthusiasm. Along with being a dedicated student, I also take great pride in my involvement throughout Vanderbilt and in the Nashville community. I am the president of Vanderbilt’s female a cappella group, the Swingin’ Dores; I am the risk manager for my sorority, Delta Delta Delta; I serve as the Morale Chair on the Board of Directors for Dance Marathon, a fundraiser for the Monroe Carroll Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt; and I am a three year tour guide for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In addition to my involvement on Vanderbilt’s campus, I also feel passionately about the prevention of child abuse and serve as the youngest member on the Board of Directors for the Exchange Club Family Center of Nashville.  Kris BahlkeKris Bahlke is a junior from Orlando, Florida, and an alumnus of Trinity Prep School. He is majoring in English with minors in French and Communication Studies, and is involved in Alternative Spring Break, Alternative Winter Break and Interhall. A class on documentary got him started with film, which he has used to pursue a passion for capturing stories that he gained from four years of high school yearbook. He would like to send special thanks to his mother, his little sister, and his two cats: Puppy and Hamster.Vanderbilt University HomeVUCast: Vanderbilt's News Network This vlog is sponsored by the Vanderbilt University News Service.   More details
